NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. – sipVine, Inc., a hosted business VoIP service company, has added yet another PBX cluster to its array of clusters in their data center. “It’s always a great day when we add a new cluster, as it signifies that our steady growth continues and our standards for our infrastructure remain in play,” Robert Conner, sipVine’s co-founder and CEO, states.
sipVine defines a PBX cluster as redundant servers built in an active/passive structure so that if one fails, a duplicate is ready for automatic failover. sipVine builds as many redundancies as possible in their data center, so hardware failure never compromises continuation of phone service for their business clients. “It’s a responsibility we take seriously”, adds Colin Wells, co-founder and CTO of sipVine. “In addition, we make sure that the number of devices on each of our clusters maximizes at 2,000, which is approximately 80% of capacity. With redundant devices, automatic failover routines, and sound capacity management, we feel strongly that we’ve built an environment that recognizes the trust our business clients have in us for the provision of stable VoIP services.”
sipVine currently has a number of clients in the install process and will be activating them on the newest cluster. Mark Greim, Vice President of Sales and Marketing adds, “at our current rate of growth, I would expect to be announcing yet another cluster addition very soon! Our deployment footprint across the nation has been rapidly expanding, and referrals from our existing customers continue to be the largest source of new customers for us.”
